Kentucky Mule Recipe

Ingredients

2 oz whiskey
3/4 oz fresh lemon/lime juice
3/4 oz simple syrup
3/4 oz bitters
4~8 mint leaves
ginger ale/beer
mint leaves+stem/lemon/lime for garnish

  • Fill copper mug to the brim with ice.

    Before starting

    In order to gurantee the mug will remain cold when serving.

  • Add your cheapest ingredients into the shaker first.

    Just in case there's a mistake, we won't have to waste expensive liquor.

  • Shake with ice.

    Shake vigorously until the shaker frosts up.

  • Remove ice from copper mug & strain into your chilled mug.

    Top off with your choice of ginger ale/beer.

  • Clap the mint leaves in order to bring out its aroma before garnishing.

    Place mint leaves near the straw so you'll smell the mint while you drink.

  • Snap lemon/lime peel into drink and rim the mug with your choice of garnish.

    Take your choice of lemon/lime wedge and rim the edge of the mug.
